Basic Information about Systematic Reviews

Systematic Reviews can take at least 12-18 months and input from at least 3 team members is needed.

Purposes for conducting a systematic review:

  1. Uncover the international evidence
  2. Confirm current practice/ address any variation/ identify new practices
  3. Identify and inform areas for future research 
  4. Identify and investigate conflicting results
  5. Produce statements to guide decision-making
  6. Available for replication or being updated
