Creating your personal account in AccessMedicine

Creating a McGraw-Hill MyAccess account will also serve as your account with AccessMedicine, AccessEmergency Medicine, AccessNeurology, and AccessPhysiotherapy.

Follow these steps to set up an McGraw-Hill account:

  1. Click on the AccessMedicine link above to access the database and authenticate as a KUMC affiliate.
  2. Click on the Sign In link in the top menu.

              

  1. Click link to Create a Free MyAccess Profile in the new window .

  1. Complete the account registration form, filling in the required information and click Create Profile.
  2. Subsequently, use the Sign In link in the top right corner and enter your new McGraw-Hill MyAccess account credentials. You will see your name at the top and can access your personal account settings via the dropdown arrow.

            

Saving content in AccessMedicine

Follow the below steps to save content in AccessMedicine for quick reference in the future.

  1. Navigate to AccessMedicine and sign in to your account.
  2. Whenever you see a star, click it to add it to a folder. You can create as many folders as you want. 
    • You can save books, chapters,  sections, figures, or tables.

  1. You can view your saved content any time you access your personal account by clicking on your name and My Favorites.

AccessMedicine - My Favorites
