EBSCOhost New UI migration

This guide covers the upcoming EBSCOhost user interface update.

New EBSCO User Interface Introduction

All EBSCO databases available through Dykes Library will be transitioning to a new user interface (UI) in August 2025. The new UI will include both visual and functional changes to the current interface.

Popular databases that will feature the new user interface are listed below, as well as a link to all EBSCO databases available through Dykes Library:

  • CINAHL Complete
  • APA PsycInfo
  • SPORTDiscus with Full Text
  • AgeLine
  • Consumer Health Complete
  • ERIC

What Do I Need to Do?

The new EBSCO user interface will be automatically updated in August 2025. Dykes Library users will not need to do anything to activate the change.

In preparation for the change:

  1. Read information via the links shared in the New EBSCO UI Resources section
  2. Watch the new UI introduction video and explore the demo site linked at the top of the page
  3. Schedule a consultation with a librarian if you have questions or concerns over using the new interface.

As the transition date nears this guide will be updated information on the new interface.
