Finding and Using Health Statistics

"Health Statistics provide information for understanding, monitoring, improving and planning the use of resources to improve the lives of people, provide services and promote their well being."

The National Information Center on Health Services Research and Health Care Technology (NICHSR) has created a course on Finding and Using Health Statistics, that "describes the range of available health statistics, identifies their sources and helps researchers better understand how to use information about their structure as they search."
