Creating Links for Off-Campus Access to Library Resources


AccessMedicine articles may be linked to using the URL present in the address bar. If you would like to link to a specific table or image in an article or book chapter, you may follow a similar process shown below.

Linking to book or article within AccessMedicine

  1. Navigate to book, chapter, or section and copy URL from Address bar. Note the URL shown below will connect directly to the currently expanded section within this chapter.
  2. Paste this link into the proxy link generator.

Linking to figure or table with AccessMedicine

  1. Within a text, click on image or table to open this in its own internet browser tab. As shown in the below image, the URL in the address bar can be used to connect directly to this figure.
