Linking to E-Journals and E-Books

When trying to link to an article found in one of our databases, it is often necessary to use a permalink (permanent link). Copying the URL from the browser address bar may not work for others if it contains information specific to your search session.

Permalinks are assigned to a specific article by the database provider and you can view instructions on locating these in the next sections of this guide. If you intend for people to reuse these links from off-campus, you can first paste these permalinks in the Proxy Link Generator to create direct links that will work for KUMC affiliates wherever they are.
