How to Use the Proxy Link Generator

  1. Select the article from the Dykes Library collection.
    • You do not need add the proxy prefix to content that is freely available or links that already begin with
  2. Locate the article permalink or DOI using the tutorials in this guide
  3. Copy the permalink address or DOI from the article page such as or 10.1038/nature23664, and paste it in to the first box in the Proxy Link Generator, below.
  4. Click the Create Link button.
  5. KUMC affiliates can use links generated from this page both on-campus and off-campus.
