Set up connection to link to Findit@KUMC
This will streamline access to Dykes Library’s electronic subscriptions. Note: This is a one-time setup on your machine.
- Click Edit → Preferences and then Authenticate by providing your KUMC username and password by right clicking on a reference.
- Now use again Edit-> Preferences ->Find Full Text
- Click to check all four boxes: ISI Web of Knowledge Full Text Links, DOI, etc.
- Copy openURL path and the authentication URL
- Paste it in the specified locations as shown in the image below You would be prompted to authenticate with KUMC Username and password to continue.
- The OpenURL path should be https://mt8fd2he2v.search.serialssolutions.com (change http to https).
- The authentication URL should be https://login.kumc.idm.oclc.org.
Click OK and close the window to return to the reference. You won’t see any changes to the main window.
