Getting UpToDate App
  • Access UpToDate on a computer/laptop from the library databases list and register for an UpToDate username and password.
  • On your mobile device, download the UpToDate app from the App Store (Android and iOS)
  • On your mobile device, login to your UpToDate App with your username and password*.

ClinicalKey

 

ClinicalKey App provides access to thousands of Elsevier journals and textbooks on medicine, surgery and many other areas,  practice guidelines, multimedia, and drug information. First Consult, the point-of-care resource is not available in the CK app at this time.

Getting ClinicalKey App
  • From a computer/laptop, access ClinicalKey from the library database list and create a personal account and password.
  • On your mobile device, download the ClinicalKey app from the App Store (Android and iOS).
  • On your mobile device, login to your ClinicalKey App with your username and password*.


*Each of these databases will require you to update your personal account periodically. You will receive an e-mail instructing you to log in using a computer/laptop and update your account. You will then be able to re-log into your mobile device App.

ePSS enables primary care clinicians to browse and search preventive recommendations from U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF). Designed to help primary care clinicians, ePSS enables you to search and browse recommendations that are appropriate for the patient's  age, sex  and many other characteristics. See instructions for use

Use these recommendations on the web or on your PDA or mobile device. Download the app from the App Store or use this link  ePSS Electronic Preventive Services Selector to use the resource from your computer or another type of mobile device.

 

 

MedlinePlus is the National Institutes of Health's Web site for patients and their families and friends, produced by the National Library of Medicine, The mobile optimized website brings you information on patient and consumer health topics, drugs, supplements & herbs, and more. Available in multiple languages.

MedScape

 

MedScape is a medical reference tool from WebMD (free and paid versions are available.)  It contains over 80 tables and protocols including treatments, differential diagnoses and drug interactions. It can be accessed on the web or through an App. You must create a personal account.
