What is IPE/CP?
"Interprofessional Education (IPE) occurs when two or more professions learn with, from and about each other to improve collaboration and the quality of care" (CAIPE, 2002).
Interprofessional Collaborative Practice (CP) occurs "when multiple health workers from different professional backgrounds work together with patients, families, careers, and communities to deliver the highest quality of care" (WHO, 2010).

"We all have a moral obligation to work together to improve care for patients"
(Pronovost & Vohr, Safe Patients- Smart Hospitals, 2010, p.137).
