The primary target audience includes physicians and nurses, allied health professionals, medical students, nursing students and others interested in medical knowledge.
Finding Images
- AccessMedicine This link opens in a new windowIn the Advanced Search, select Images. Users have the option to download images directly to PowerPoint.
- ClinicalKey This link opens in a new windowAfter creating a ClinicalKey account, click the All drop-down menu and select Multimedia.
- UpToDate This link opens in a new windowAfter searching a topic, on the right side, click on Graphics. Select an image and click on Export to PowerPoint to embed in your presentation.
- NIH Image GallaryMost of these images are freely available and only require attribution.

- NCI Visuals OnlineVisuals Online provides a range of photographs and illustrations. Most of the images available in this library are in the public domain.
- PHILBrowse the CDC's extensive collection of images and multimedia files related to public health. Most of the images in the collection are in the public domain and are thus free of any copyright restrictions.

Governmental reports, research, and information can also be important in your research.
- Search for information from specific domains (i.e., .gov). Much of the content found on governmental web sites is "by the people and for the people". It is freely available to the public for us to use and re-use.
